Description

Yep. Another wallpaper of mine. And another Celtic knot - long time since the last one. ;P
It was a design of a Celtic knot for my jeans jacket - had to be on my back. But the jacket is dead now, so... the knot maybe will be on the next jeans jacket (called Immortal by my dear friends, who can remember me walking eternally in jeans jackets :XD:).

#TribeOfCelts asks about works' relationship to the Celts, so...
This is today's version of a Celtic knot. Desingned and created by me.
Generally Celtic tribes used knots for decorations. They put them on their weapons, houses, crosses, eves used them as tattoos. And not only Celts did it - I know Nordic tribes decorated their weapons with similar knots. And even I've found knotworks in old Slavic houses.
In Middle Ages it was a usual way to decorate books.
And now - as you probably know - it's easy to find Celtic knots actually anywhere. Even in most incredibe places.

Interesting winged knot... I agree, it would look great embroidered across the shoulders of a jacket, or even upon the back pockets of a pair of jeans.. Nice work! :D
